Welcome to the restaurant of my personal PC-boosting recipes

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my blog. I hate introductory speeches so I will come straight to the point: I'm spending most of my day in front of a computer screen: this is what I studied, this is what I do for living, this is what I love. I'm using my pc to develop (web) applications, browse the internet, watch my favorite TV shows, listen to music, play games.

Almost every day that I use a computer, I come across major or minor "discomforts" that force me to waste my time on trivial, pointless and annoying tasks: search for very large files that are "eating" my disk's space, archive and clear my default download folder, clear internet activity history, check and optimize my registry etc. If I don't do these things? They just pile up and at some point everything falls apart: the hard disk becomes full, spyware programs are popping windows every minute, the desktop's background image can hardly be recognized due to the hundreds of useless icons and I can literally watch a basketball game while Windows are still booting... This is a mess and I'm sure that you all know what I'm talking about.

I created this blog to share some tips that can help you improve your relationship with your computer and make it work they way you want it to work: effectively and with minimum intervention by you. In other words: smart!
